No.7091 Date2021-10-05 Hit 19049

Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital signed an MOU on social contribution with CEVO Mobility on September 24 and received a donation of electric vehicle ‘CEVO-C SE.’

The donor CEVO Mobility is a leading electric vehicle manufacturer that pursues eco-friendly mobility and has developed and launched the nation's first electric mini car. The donated vehicle is being used for supporting medical services. It helps the mobility of low-income patients and medically underprivileged residents and is also being used for the ‘home nursing’ service which is designed to visit the home of chronic disease patients who have difficulties in coming to the hospital and provide them with treatment and rehabilitation.

Based upon this agreement, the two institutions agreed to jointly develop an electric vehicle for transporting patients who have difficulty moving around conveniently and safely. In addition, it plans to develop new medical mobility services by jointly participating in national research and development projects.

Director Kyung-Ho Yu of the hospital said, “We plan to initiate a medical mobility project for patients by combining our medical infrastructure and CEVO Mobility’s advanced technology.”

“We will continue to participate in social contribution activities as a member of the local community,” said CEO Young Tae Park of CEVO Mobility.
