Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital signed an MOU with Acryl Inc. and Fine Healthcare on July 19 to develop an AI-driven medical service and digital healthcare model for the smart hospital.
Through the MOU, the three institutions will jointly participate in the government’s R&D projects led by Acryl and collaborate in order to provide the best medical services to patients. The specific contents of the MOU include co-developing healthcare AI systems, promoting telemedicine systems and overseas healthcare projects, and designing new business model on digital healthcare.
“Using AI and digital healthcare technologies in medicine is essential to move toward the establishment of the smart hospital. We expect this partnership will allow us to lead the smart medical service by developing and adopting new technologies into the real clinical fields,” said Young-Goo Lee, Director of Kangnam Hospital.
Meanwhile, Acryl Inc. is an AI-enabled platform company that has developed and commercialized an AI solution called Jonathan, which can be used in various industrial fields. Fine Healthcare is a digital healthcare company that launched K-Teledermatolgy in the U.S., developed a non-face-to-face skin counselling platform service, and successfully conducted telemedicine training for medical staff of Mozambique.
