No.6839 Date2021-03-10 Hit 21774

Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital began the COVID-19 vaccination on their medical staff on Friday, March 5.

On the first day, about 800 front-line healthcare workers including Director Kyung Ho Yu received the initial dose of the Astra Zeneca vaccine, and a total of 1,608 medical staff have been vaccinated so far.

The hospital conducted a pre-training several times for safe vaccination and uses its Clinical Trial Center as a vaccination center to rapidly respond to any possible side effects after vaccination.

“The vaccination will be a great help to our front-line healthcare workers who have been dedicating themselves to prevent COVID-19,” said Director Yu and added, “We will continue to follow the quarantine policy more strictly to protect our patients and our hospital from the virus.”
