No.5653 Date2018-03-09 Hit 29000

Hallym University Medical Center opened Central Clinical Research Center and Clinical Trial Center at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital on March 9, 2018, in order to promote clinical research and enhance research capabilities.

The Central Clinical Research Center is a research organization focusing on the quality improvement activities of clinical research, such as training professionals of clinical trial, analyzing medical statistics, and recruiting clinical trial participants.

The Clinical Trial Center promotes clinical research by making a plan, giving consultations, conducting clinical trials, analyzing the results, and providing coordinators and equipment.

With the help of those two centers, HUMC plans to strengthen research capabilities and encourage researcher-led clinical trials.

“By establishing the Central Clinical Research Center and Clinical Trial Center, we are now prepared to develop high-tech medicine, medical devices and technologies further for healthier lives,” said President Ki-Suck Jung of Hallym University Medical Center. “We are confident that we will contribute to the reduction of the burden of healthcare costs as well as to the development of the healthcare industry, which is Korea’s new growth engine,” he added.
