Dr. Tae Young Kim receives an ‘Outstanding Dissertation Award’ at KSBMR

Dr. Tae Young Kim of Orthopedic Surgery at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital has received an Excellent Paper Award from the Korean Society for Bone and Mineral Research (KSBMR) in 2015.


He was honored for his research paper, “Incidence and Mortality after Proximal Humerus Fractures Over 50 Years of Age in South Korea: National Claim Data from 2008 to 2012,” which has been published in the Journal of Bone Metabolism. He was also recognized for his contribution in the development of KSBMR.


The Korean Society for Bone and Mineral Research is a major academic society that covers bone metabolism disease research and clinical fields.
