Hallym to adopt ‘Big Data Analytics Solution’ for a better Medical Service

No.4462 Date2015-05-20 Hit 30148

Hallym University Medical Center (HUMC) signed a contract with the Miso Info Tech, a Korean provider of the QlikView Elite Solution, to adopt a clinical data analytics solution called ‘Smart CDW (Clinical Data Warehouse).’ The QlikView is a global company that develops the big data analytics system.

HUMC decided to adopt this solution to become a world-class smart hospital by upgrading its level of medical services and identifying service improvement issues through the analysis of clinical big data. The new solution offers the EMR text data analysis and the integrated analysis of fixed data which were impossible before.

Manager Jang-Heum Choi of the Management Information team said, “With this Solution, doctors can now analyze the clinical data more easily and rapidly. It is expected to play an important role in the development of medical technique and the publication of research papers.”

HUMC will use the Smart CDW at its 6 hospitals from October after a thorough preparation stage.
