Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital

Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital has been designated as a tertiary general hospital by the Ministry of Health and Welfare(MOHW) of Korea.

A tertiary general hospital is a top-notch hospital that provides advanced treatments to patients with critical illness such as cancers and cerebrovascular diseases. The MOHW designates tertiary general hospitals every three years from 10 regions across the country through a rigorous assessment that meets the highest criteria on hospital facilities, equipment, medical personnel, and patient composition. This time, 43 general hospitals in Korea were approved.

Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital has been selected as a tertiary hospital for the three periods in a row since 2009.

Director Ki-Suck Jung said, “The designation substantiates Hallym’s high-quality medical service, most up-to-date equipment and facilities, and excellent medical personnel.” and he added, ”We will continue to make strenuous efforts to provide the best medical services and strengthen our expertise to be the most respectable and trusted health care provider to all local patients with severe illness.
