Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital

Dr. Wook Chun, director of the burn center at Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital, received a plaque of appreciation from the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) at Medical Korea 2012 – The 3rd Global Healthcare and Medical Tourism Conference at COEX in Seoul on April 18, 2012.

Dr. Chun’s team of Hangang was recognized for giving medical treatment to children from the Philippines and Kyrgyzstan who suffered from burn injuries.

Organized by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), the event was designed to encourage international patients and their families who are now being treated in Korea and introduce Korea’s medical care support program to many people in Korea and abroad.
