Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital

A paper by Dr. Lee-Su Kim, professor of breast and endocrine surgery at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital, has been selected as one of Top 10 oncological theses by MDLinx.

MDLinx is the most rapidly provided internet-based service that announces the index of medical theses in the world. It is well-known for its listing of 50 outstanding papers of the month, and a listing of 10 sector-specific thesis.

His paper, ‘Antiproliferation and Redifferentiation in Thyroid Cancer Cell Lines by Polyphenol Phytochemicals,’ shows that Polyphenol phytochemicals (PPs) could provide a useful therapeutic intervention in radioiodine therapy by promoting differentiation in re-emerged and metastasized thyroid cancer cell. It was previously published in the Journal of Korean Medical Science in June.

His name also appeared in the 2012 edition of the Marquis Who's Who for three consecutive years since 2010.
