Sapporo Doctors Learn Arthroplasty from Hangang

No.2735 Date2010-12-15 Hit 31053

Two orthopedic surgeons of Sapporo Medical University, Japan, visited the arthroplasty center at Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital on November 4, 2010. The two Japanese surgeons met Dr. Jun-Dong Chang, director of the center, to share their knowledge and experience, and observed an Total Hip Arthroplasty(THA), and an reimplantation arthroplasty.

The Japanese surgeons, Dr. Mitsunori Kaya and Dr. Shunichiro Okazaki were inspired by a lecture of Dr. Chang on arthroplasty in Sapporo last May. They then asked Dr. Chang for a visit to Hangang for surgery observation.

Hangang’s arthroplasty center has been visited by many foreign orthopedic surgeons who are eager to learn skills and know-how on arthroplasty.
