The 2007 evaluation was carried out for hospitals with more than 500 beds in 86 medical centers in Korea.

The evaluation focused on 18 items in 3 areas: (1) treatment and operational system, (2) managerial performance by departments, and (3) index on clinical quality. Each item was categorized in the following four levels: A (excellent, over 90 points), B (Good, between 70 and 89), C (average, between 50 and 69) and D (below average, below 49).

It shows that HUSHH has proved it is one of the best hospitals in terms of medical services and managerial performance. With the ministry's evaluation, HUSHH also turned out to be the best medical institution in the area of medical diagnosis and clinical quality.
