Nuclear Medicine

The Department of Nuclear Medicine offers specialized medical care by using small amounts of radioactive material to diagnose and determine the severity of or treat a variety of diseases, including various types of cancers, cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal, endocrine, neurological disorders and other abnormalities within the body. Also, nuclear medicine can diagnose and examine the digestive system, liver function, bronchial function, kidney and Urinary system, brain nervous system, and lymphatic system.
