Emergency Medicine

The Department of Emergency Medicine is saving lives of emergency patients and immediately getting them back as much as possible to a normal condition so that it may help enhance the effectiveness of additional treatment, surgery, and rehabilitation.

The actual goal of the department is not to treat emergency patients completely, but to bring them back close to normalcy. In other words, it is primarily devoted to performing emergency medical care on patient symptoms, rather than treating them on pathogenesis.
