The Department of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery performs surgeries on medical conditions involving the heart, lungs, esophagus, blood vessels, and chest. In particular, our surgeons offer the most appropriate and minimally invasive care for patients with heart diseases. For the patient, minimally invasive surgery can provide many benefits including less need for blood transfusions, fewer scars, less pain, a shorter hospital stay, and a quicker recovery.
