The Department of Urology treats diseases of male and female urinary tracts, male reproductive organs, and retroperitoneal organs, including adrenal glands. With the advanced surgical technique of endoscopy, patients are able to benefit from the minimal invasive surgery(MIS) such as cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and laparoscopy. Besides, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and electrohydraulic lithotripsy allow doctors to remove patients' calculus with incise skin. Treatments for prostatic cancer, bladder cancer, nephrectomy, and pyeloplasty are performed with a newly introduced da Vinci Robot surgical system.
